Kids BJJ in Auburn (Ages 6–12)
Martial arts that teaches kids to stay calm
Our Kids program is for primary-school children aged 6 to 12. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling art — no punching, no kicking — so children learn to control a situation and stay safe without hurting anyone. It's the martial art most parents end up choosing once they've seen a class.
What your child learns
Real self-defence for the playground: how to get free when someone grabs them, how to fall without getting hurt, how to hold someone off until a teacher arrives — and when to just walk away. Discipline and respect: bowing on and off the mat, listening to the coach, looking after a smaller training partner. Fitness and coordination from an hour of real movement, not drills they'll forget. And confidence — the quiet kind that shows up at school.
How a class runs
Monday to Friday, 4:30–5:20 PM, straight after school. Warm-up games, a technique of the day taught step by step, partner drilling, then supervised controlled rounds. Taps are respected instantly, and coaches stop anything that looks unsafe before it becomes a problem.
Coaches who teach kids well
Classes are led by experienced coaches and active competitors with experience in injury rehab and athlete development. We've been teaching kids in the Auburn and Western Sydney community for over eight years.
Active and Creative Kids vouchers
We are a registered Active and Creative Kids provider with Service NSW. Eligible NSW families can put their vouchers towards the Kids program.
